Institute of Ethnic Studies - Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (KITA- UKM)

In mid-2008 he joined the Institute of Ethnic Studies (KITA), UKM as the Principal Research Fellow and in 2018 was confirmed the Professor of Public Advocacy by UKM. While at KITA-UKM he undertook action research in several areas:-

 

  • Building Neighbourhood Cohesion
  • Fostering Social Development & Urban Poverty
  • Addressing racial discrimination via ICERD
  • Formulating national unity policies and programs for community harmony
  • Empowering through social solidarity economy

These are highlighted including contributions and the documentary evidence via publications or videos. Currently, he serve as an Honorary Professor at KITA-UKM since 2020.
